The opening ceremony of Wuzhou Remanufacturing Demonstration Base was held in Wuzhou Imported Renewable Resources Processing Park in Guangxi on 28 October 2016. Seven projects with a total investment amount of 600 million yuan was signed at that day. After the opening ceremony, the Euro-Sino international forum of the remanufacturing industry was held.

The forum was jointly held by China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, Wuzhou Imported Renewable Resources Processing Park and Guangxi Jiahe Run Remanufacture Industry Investment Co., Ltd. About 100 representatives from organizations, associations, chamber of commerce, national key laboratory and enterprises within remanufacture industry from the Netherlands, United Kingdom, Japan, Hong Kong and domestic were invited to take park in this forum.

The forum focuses on the hot issues in the field of remanufacturing, and analyze the situation of remanufacture industry, share the advanced development experiences of Europe and Japan. Jane Paulson, the board of director of the International Engine Remanufacturing Association and the chairman of the Netherlands Chapter and Otoma Shiru, the chairman of Japan Broadleaf Company, Xiubing Liang, the director of National Engineering Research Center for Remanufacturing of Mechanical Product were made speeches regarding this industry.
